Hi,
Looking at the +2 parts manual for compatibility of parts between the +2 and baby elan.
Wiki shows the rear uprights here: https://lotuselan.net/wiki/DA_-_Rear_Suspension_%2B2
The uprights are labelled as both:
5 A026D0005 1 Bearing Housing, LH
and
19 050D6003 1 Damper/Bearing Housing LH
The former is a 26 prefix so compatible, the latter a 50 so +2 only.
Can the +2 assembly be used on the baby Elan?
Cheers.

The wheel carriers, spring tubes, shafts and bearings are the same but I think the hubs are different between the cars.
There are issue 16 and 18 hub carriers that only differ in the inside bearing used (issue 18 use a wider bearing).
The +2 often used a bracket on the damper tubes for the brake line which isn't used by the elan.
