What is the most used brake pads for road?
Ebc greenstuf or the black stuff?

I personally wouldn't use either of them on my car. A good standard top brand like Mintex or Ferodo will be much better. If you want the top stuff, and want to do the occasional trackday, then Mintex M171, or Ferodo DS 2500.. Expensive, but the best .

DS 2500! Absolutely, wouldn't use anything else.

I think the problem are in the rear. There aren’t many alternatives…

In that case,if you're using a very good pad in the front, (which does most of your braking), then a good standard pad like a Ferodo, Girling or Mintex will be fine in the rear.

As some who, since an abdominal operation 40 year ago, has no belly button I tentatively offer this as fact. Mintex 1144 pads transformed the braking on my both my Elan S2 and Westfield 7 when they replaced EBC.
