+2 top ball joint / torn rubber

Have my +2 on jack stands. Front suspension in full droop. Noticed ball joint rubbers are torn. The rubbers are pinched when at full droop. Spyder chassis and a-arms. Original uprights. Problem? I assume normal.

If I replace the ball joints it will tear the rubbers again. Any advice. Thanks. Bob

Maybe needs a droop limiter of some sort.

Hi Bob,

My boots were split and the joints were nearly new, South Wales Propshafts have a great selection of EU made rubbers for all the joints on our cars, good quality and only a couple of quid. The reference number I used for my top ball joints was DC154K, you can order them on their website.
