I don't recall which polybushes I used - I want to say PowerFlex but could have been SuperFlex, I'll check my receipts. But I chose to switch for longevity and have noticed no increase in harshness or other negative ride impact Of course, previous condition was dry-rotted rubber bushes, so not a great comparison.

Ok. Were you referring to a switch from the standard bushes?

thanks

How long did the original bushes last.
If it was 20+ years that's not too bad

Bill,

I received the wishbone bushes from Autobush, as posted before the dimensions of the bushes are different to the Superflex product.

I found the Autobush product easier to fit and when fitted the SS tube is just longer than the PU bush. The pin internal diameter in the PU bush is knurled to hold the grease and there’s are raised lips to hold the grease in.

I fitted up two wishbones to the car and with the inside end bolted up to torque I can move the free end easily by hand and the movement is smooth So the PU bush and SS tube seem to be acting as a bearing in the way I expected.

I have no affiliation to Autobush but It may be worth giving them a try.
