In the off chance that relevancy may be overrated -
Check this side bar out that was in Ferrari Club of America's spring 1990 Prancing Horse. (Cross my fingers it uploaded)
I think this was in response to an article in a previous issue disparaging a car being sold with original tires that were thought to still contain the original factory air.
Remember when "factory air" used to be a big deal? it was mentioned a lot in for sale ads back in the day, but not much anymore. There probably isn't enough air in todays 40 series wagon wheels to tell the difference.

the date on the Ferrari article "original air" just HAS to be written/published for a roll out on APRIL 1st!!!!! :lol:

A number of years ago, I can read an article in Grassroots Motorsports about them doing tire/wheel combinations tests on the Miata. If I remember correctly, everything they tried made the car go slower on their test track.
