Posted: Mon Sep 10, 2018 5:20 pmTTR, from whom I obtained by 26R hubs/spinners, did not use safety wiring on his spinners over a 16 year career of racing a 26R. Never had a wheel loosen. But, maintained "surgical cleanliness" on the wheel/spinner mating surface as well as spinner/hub threads. Plus, hammered up the spinners tight.
