Fuel pump rebuild kit

Rebuilding an AC mechanical fuel pump yesterday with a kit from DB, and it included everything I needed except, the rubber seal that surrounds the shaft from diaphragm to the lever arm, which prevents engine oil from contacting the diaphragm. The box was marked TR4, so I pulled out my ever handy Moss Motors catalog for the TR4, only to find an asterisk by the part number for what appeared to be the same kit of parts. Looking down the page, for the rest of the story, found the asterisk, and it listed all of the parts needed except it said the rubber seal was not included. At least they were honest about it. Anyone happen to know where one might find one of these seals?

I had the same problem a few years ago and finally managed to get one from here.....
http://www.classicpreservation.com/. The guy is called Hal Houghton and was extremely helpful. The part he supplied was a later design which was slightly different from the original but fitted fine.

Be careful if you have an unbranded rebuild kit, I found problems with kits I got from two different UK suppliers but eventually found a genuine AC rebuild kit and that was fine. Full story here.. lotus-carbs-f40/fuel-pump-overhaul-t22958.html?hilit=fuel%20pump
