Does anybody have any experience with Spyder's twin A-arm suspension for an Elan. Any experience with their combination CV joint and doughnut drive shafts?

Thanks

I have the Cv/doughnut combo.
It works fine but the doughnuts still need replacing and I'd go full CV if I had my time again.

I have my doubts re full CV. I think you need some compliance in the driveline somewhere.
Especially with 50 year old diff etc.

My +2 has the Spyder setup and whilst "wind up" can still be felt a bit, it is quite remote and preferably to a harsh torque reversal. However a friend has a similarly equipped S3 where wind up is more noticeable.

As so often it probably depends much on where and how you drive!

Toad also has the twin arm setup. I'll PM you my opinion of that.

I have UJ and sliding spline and one rotoflex each side.
Works suprprisingly well
