Hi,
Just wondered.
Is anybody running Uniroyals Rainsports or Dunlop Street Response tyres with inner tubes?

Carl

Hi Carl
As mentioned in a previous post, I had inner tubes in Uniroyals & was plagued with punctures caused by the ribs on the inside of the tyre cutting into the tubes. My tyre man did a bit of research & apparently Uniroyal state their tyres are not suitable for use with inner tubes. It seems very few radials are.

Regards, Tim

I've recently put Continental ContiEcoContact 3 tyres on my Elan (with tubes) and +2 (without) and no problems. The Elan was previously fitted with Uniroyals (with tubes) with no problems too. Jim

I have Uniroyal Rain experts with no tubes and on revolution alloys.
The only comment so far is that I think I need to check the geo.

Hi,

Put a set of Uniroyal Rain Experts on my plus 2 last May, without tubes on standard steel wheels. I have done over 2k on them since including some very hot driving in France and some very wet driving in Wales. I have had no problems and tyres have performed well.
