Thanks for bringing us up to date. Did you cut the holes in the body?

Hi Lou,
Any chance of you posting a photo of one of your Minilites. I have original, and odd patterned Minilites on my S4, and I'd like to compare.
Cheers,
Colin.

quote="loueelotus"]Hi types26/36. Thanks for your input,

I keep thinking it may be the wheel / tire but they have need re-balanced a few time it still the issue . Though I have on the car now old original magnesium minilites.. The steering wheel free movement is about 3/8 to 1/4 of an inch. its weird how its intermitant..

Hi guys.. Thanks for the Post ..Yes I had to cut 2 square holes to pull out the Clamps on the Rack and Pinion to Chassis and replaced them with the solid ones and the steering is now more direct..
Regards,
Lou

I recall reading in Carroll Smith's book "Prepare to Win" that ideally it should be possible, with the front wheels off the ground, to spin the front wheels from one lock to the other and have them bounce back halfway! Has anyone achieved that with an Elan?
