Wheel nut dimensions?

Could some kind person give me the dimensions of the 8 sides wheel nut, across the flats and across the points please.

A steel socket is likely to marr the chrome finish over time although less so than the tools cut from relatively thin steel plate that Lotus supplied originally. Are you thinking of a heavy wall socket machined from brass or another relatively soft material?
