Trunnions and ball joints

It's MOT time for the Plus 2 and the trunnions need new bottom pivots - I'm going back to nylon as the Superflex I fitted 9k miles ago have deformed for some reason. and don't look good.

I also need to replace a top ball joint as the boot has split.

Canley Classics seems to be the place to go - could anyone advise which Triumph model and year these parts come from or even better part numbers?

Cheers

Jon

I'm pretty sure you can get any such bits from Sue Miller and be sure they are the correct ones.

I've only just ordered new rubber boots for my Top ball joints from Canley Classics, you don't need the whole ball joint if they're ok, just the boots. I'm 90 % sure they're Herald/ Spitfire/ vitesse. They should arrive within the next few days so I'll be able to confirm then

Thanks chaps,

I need these urgently so just ordered them from Rimmers - quality should be assured based on previous experience.

For information. Just fitted my top ball joint rubber gaitors, which are the same as Herald/Spitfire/Vitesse. A bit of a fiddle to fit, best to remove the whole ball joint to do it, but they fit fine.

You have just reminded me that I bought an assortment sizes of of ball-joint-type rubbers a couple of years ago from ebay or Amazon and I've forgotten where I put them.
