Hi All

Does anyone happen to have the dimension of front hubs from the N/S back of the wheel to the O/S back of the wheels please. I'm looking for dimensions for both the front and rear hubs. They seem not to be the same as the track which is the centreline of one tyre to the centreline of the other tyre.

I'm trying to sort out my geometry on the race car and my reference points dont work.

I dont have them to hand but its easy enough to determine using the two string method of wheel alignment.

Set up two string lines one each side of the car at hub height that run beyond the car front and rear.

Adjust the strings until their distance apart is the same front and rear and their distance to the front hubs the same on each side and to the front hubs the same on each side.

When this is done the strings are parallel to the car suspension and each other.

You can then measure the width for front and rear of the hubs buy measuring the distance from string to hub and the distance the strings are apart.
