my servo has been pumping up the pedal to the point that it applied brakes to 1 front wheel, can i leave the servo in place disconnected from vacuum. look forward to the answers

Not really. If you leave a servo in circuit, you will need a LOT more pedal pressure to operate the brakes.


Generally you need to get a small adaptor made from brake pipe work, to take the servo out of circuit by connecting its incoming pipe directly to its outgoing pipe.

I was able to buy an inline brake pipe connector from my local motor factor.

As said by passing them you just need to insert a brake line in place for the servo. Then bleed the brakes.

If you want to stay with that set up you might want to consider fitting softer pads (if your not running them already) and a smaller 5/8 master cylinder if you find the braking effort to high.
