Lockeed indeed.

I ordered the exact same one.

Perfect kit complete with rubber hoses (the small one on the pic, and the long vacuum one that goes to the engine, extra brake lines that i did not use as well as mounting plates unused as well)

Nope, the one way valve is not included. I had one from my previous set up directly exiting from the engine.

If you need a new one way valve and are not fussed about originality; the ones on the left in this picture are readily available in Motor parts shops in two or more diameters.. The one on the right is my original defunct one (it happily passes air both ways) from my Elan S3 which originally had a servo.

I think they are actually sold as one way valves for fuel, but they seem to work fine for air too.

Would the lack of a valve result in the sticking mentioned at the start of this discussion.

Not sure about that, but the servo would not work very well at all, because it would depend on what the engine was doing at the time.

If you stalled the engine while still rolling (which is easily done), you would lose all servo assistance on the brakes. That busted valve in my photo might be what caused that situation to happen to me in my early days. Your reflexes seem to be unable to 'appreciate' just how hard you have to press the foot pedal when the servo assistance has gone. As a result I ran into the back of a vehicle in front and smashed the fibreglass nose. This put me off having a servo in my S3 and I disconnected it. Ironically I never thought to test the one-way valve at that time.
