Hi all
I have just replaced the front wishbone bushes on my +2 project. When I have come to slide wishbones on to the chassis, which is a new lotus chassis, there is a little bit of play. Is this normal ? Or should this be a tightish fit?
Thanks ian

They are normally a free sliding fit on the chassis pins in my experience. With only a very small amount of free play. Once the nuts are done up tight as they should be they don't move.
Whether the current replacement bushes are being made to the right tolerances I don't know but they may be a little loose from your description.
cheers
Rohan
