Ahhhh - my turn signal lever fell apart on the way home this morning. Does anyone know how these parts fit back into the steering column?

I think they are an easily available Triumph part. We would call it an 'Indicator stalk/switch' over here - might help your search.

Thanks all. I got it back together. Pretty much an erector set problem. I definitely could have used one of the 3 handed elves that Lotus must have used to build it. Not sure if it is permanently fixed. Seems ok, but the part may just be worn and come apart again.

I may have to do the same sort of thing soon with my headlights dip/main/off stalk switch which is getting very wobbly.

Mine is the same, I improved it a bit by replacing the pivot pin - still not brilliant though.

For the turn signal lever. Everything is held together by the leaf spring tension. I'm sure that these are worn and even though it's back together and working I will have to replace the unit soon. After spending a couple of hours swearing, banging my head and dropping small parts on the floor I can see why replacing the entire unit is the way to go.

Hah, discovered that my problem was merely that the mounting screws were loose. No lock washers.
