Hello Gents
'71 Elan Sprint.
Can any one out there advise me of the correct torque loading figure for the rear main hub nut please???

my manual p27 gives:
Rear hub retaining nut 100-110 lbs.ft.
There is some 'alignment' between the shaft taper, hub taper and the pin so it feels like you are doing it up forever - you will know what I mean later! Try and get the pin far enough in before you start.

By golly youre right! It went on forever, its quite frightening, you have visions of stripped threads or stretching metal!!!!
