Rose jointed wishbones

My Elan S4 restoration project car has modified front upper wishbones which have been fitted with adjustable rose joints to replace the standard rubber bushes. Would it be sensible to leave as is or replace with standard upper wishbones and bushes?

If the rose joints are relatively new (good condition), then I would keep them. Either use the dimensions in the workshop manual or borrow a standard wishbonse and set the length of your adjustable ones to standard. That way you have a standard set up, but should you desire more spirited driving or take it on the track, then you have the option of dialing in a little more negative camber.
I'm in the same position with my Plus 2 - adjustable top and bottom wishbones. I've set them up as best I can from the workshop manual dimensions, but will check them against MattElan's standard wishbones before everything is finally bolted tight.
