Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I have read a lot in previous posts about tyre pressures, and there seems to be a lot of different opinions. I intend to use the car only on the road, no track days, or anything similar. They are original wheels with standard 165 tyres.
What should the pressure be?

Think they 'should be' 20, 24 (front back I think...) lbs

I use 22 lbs all round and have found this very good.

I seem to remember trying the workshop manual recommended pressures before and not being happy with them.

My car is a daily driver with standard alloy wheels on 165 13 80's.
