Lotus Elan

Elan and +2 front k/o hubs

PostPost by: CG901 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 12:03 am

Although the part numbers are different, e.g. 050CXXX (Elan +2) and 036CXXX (Elan), are the front k/o hubs interchangable? I know the brake rotors and calipers are different. Thanks.

don't forget that they are handed also. Red left side lefthand thread and Green right side righthand thread.
I say this because when i was in New Zealand this Year i saw 3 Elans and 2 of them had the hubs fitted on the wrong side  Maybe things are different down under

Roger and Alan, thank you. The exercise wasn't a total loss as I did pull the vertical link, and steering arm from the +2 that will fit the Elan. Now for sale is the +2 RH KO hub, caliper bracket and dust shield.
