If you are looking for a Springall Horn Push I have one as I also just fitted a brand new springall Wheel but fitted a Lotus Horn Push, with a lot of fiddling and cutting !!!!

That looks remarkably like a S2 Europa wheel, I don't have one to hand to check the measurements, but if it is a Lotus horn push should be a perfect fit.

The wheel was also fitted to S3 S/E's - I can list some period road tests if you're interested?

Hello,

I don't know what sort of Springall wheel peterexpart is working on, but Springall made many different wheels for other makes of cars, perhaps his was not meant for a Lotus?

You have a Europa S2 wheel, it should have a thin alloy ring on the inside of the boss where the badge sits. The Europa S2 had exactly the same type of centre badge / horn push as fitted to Elan S1 to 4's and some Sprints as well - the badge should pop right in with minimal fitting.

Under the badge is a three pronged clip that is attached under the steering wheel nut, the badge has cut outs that clip in place. Don't forget the horn push pencil. It's all Standard Truimph stuff and readily available.

Have a look in the Lotus workshop manual or perhaps some of the Triumph sites have exploded diagrams.

Good luck,

Anybody know where I could get one, please?

Many thanks,

Nigel.

the std triumph horn push fits.......buy one without a logo
the same lucas item with a lotus 'silver' badge seems to be x10 the price...
or you can buy a copy from S&J sportscars for about ?40...its the wrong period of lotus logo but its still a lotus logo

whilst its not perfect, personally I think its better than nothing
