Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi all:

Archive search hasn't answered this one. Are the rear A-arms interchangeable from side to side? If I'm replacing a right one, do I need to find a right one, or will any straight one work?

They always measured identically so interchangeable in my experience.

Ditto, mine are off the car at the moment and as far as I can see they are the same. I don't know if the are the same dimensions as the +2 though, it would be worth checking if you're buying s/h off Ebay, etc.

+2 wishbones are much longer.

Thanks for the responses. These are Elan, going on an Elan, so only worried about right to left, not S2 to +2.
