Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I am replacing my old original (1967) front wishbones with new tubular items from Paul Matty. The offset in my old upper wishbones measures 46mm, which matches exactly the offset in the new tubular items. However, the Lotus service manual gives the upper wishbone offset value as 38.1mm (see attached image). The lower wishbones offset (51mm) is also different from that shown in the manual (46mm). Are these errors in the service manual?
