Hi Guys,
Have a problem in that part of the threaded mounting lug of my Sprints rear caliper
has broken away. It shows signs of a tack weld at some earlier time which has given up.
Anyone know a good fix or the whereabouts of a replacement please?
Nodbe.

Presume broken lug is the threaded hole integral with rear brake caliper.
Can't see how a good quality repair could be guaranteed as it's a casting. Remember it's a safety critical part of the car especially with a single line braking systems.
As far as I know, these calipers castings are no longer available new. Hunt down a good 2nd hand one at a Lotus meeting or via ebay.
By the way, could this post be moved into the Common section as brake calipers are the same for the Elan and Plus 2.
Regards
Gerry
