Lockhead Brake servo

PostPost by: bob_rich » Tue Jan 04, 2011 10:44 am

Hi Folks

As part of the rebuild of my Dec 73 +2S 130 looking to strip down and check my servo. It is a Lockhead type. The guy at Classic Car Automotive in Cheshire (very helpful was he) suggested that before diving in for a rebuild kit or a new servo to strip down the old one ad inspect the parts. Has anyone rebuilt one of these? If so have you got the instruction sheet that came with the rebuild kit as this would give me a good idea what the innards look like.

If anyone has a copy of the Lockhead servo rebuild info or any related instructions would appreciate a copy either posted up here or PM 2 me.

thanks in advance for any help

cheers

Bob

Hi. I had these stashed away in my servo directory:

Lockhead RemoteServo.pdf
lockhead servo
(1.1 MiB) Downloaded 294 times

Lockhead Servo Diagram.pdf
Diagram showing where spring needs to be added
(929.4 KiB) Downloaded 222 times

They may be of some use.

Sean.
