Hello John,

It sounds like the pads are absorbing moisture and after a couple of applications this water disappears giving more stable friction.
Using the car more often will help but thats not always so easy.
If you still have the EBC pads why not put them back in and reassess? lightly clean the discs to get rid of any lining deposition.
