Ever head this noise with the windows down when going over a bump?
My +2 did this until I traced it down to the rear brake pads, which just sit underneath the retaining pins and are free to move about. if you give the rear wheels a kick when they are jacked up you can hear it.
Four dollops of RTV between the pins and the pads fixed it for me. Make sure the pads are retracted when you put on the RTV (foot off the brake)! The RTV will flex and not interfere with the brake action.

you could also RTV the ends of the retaining pins to the caliper...
