Brake servo question?

I need to replace the braker servo on my Elan but would like to keep the car original. I have sourced a rebuilt Mk2b Girling unit for an 'affordable' sum of money. The main 'difference' is that the replacement one has 21 stamped at the end of the casting rather than B. I gather that this means it has a boost ratio of 1.5 rather than 2.
Is this a problem? Should I send the unit back or will it work just as well as the original.
Basically, what I really want to know is, should I worry?
I had a Lockheed unit for a while and never knew the boost ratio but it seemed to work?
Thanks
Carl

I always have found Elans with boosters to be too sensitive on the brakes for my liking and my Elan with no booster is the way I like it. My plus 2 with a booster has too light a brake pedal. I would expect a 1.5 rather than a 2 boost ratio to be just fine depending on your personal preferences for brake pedal feel
