Hi Ian,
You could try J & L Spares - they recondition Girling master cylinders so they may stock the reservoir caps. I bought my servo recon kit from them. Might be worth giving them a call.

I was able to repair mine - I just happened to have an ordinary cap without the electrical bits - and it was quite easy to transfer these bits onto the new cap.
The question arises 'why does the cap corrode when the cylinder doesn't? (both ali I think)?

Thanks for that Jason but to be honest it doesnt look like mine? I v not looked in detail yet but beneath the cap is a white plastic cage which i assume contains the sender then top of cap has 2 wires going into a rubber sheath..Is that similar to yours Freddie?
Cheers,
Ian.

The cap is the same as mine (in the picture the second connection is out of sight round the corner)

Ian,
if I understand you correctly, yes the red bit and the cap underneath are one, and just screw off like any cap. Possibly removing the connections to turn it several times.

Hello All,
Did anyone ever manage to source a replacement, please?
