Brake caliper pistons

PostPost by: Gizze » Tue Jan 19, 2010 8:02 pm

Hi,
Has anybody got any recommendations for a supplier for rear brake caliper pistons, I've had a couple of quotes which seem a little bit steep :? .
Many thanks

I've never heard of SJ sportscars, but have posted an enquiry to them. Looks like a they have a great range of stuff - and have done the inevitable and drawn up quite a shopping list! I'd love to fit stainless steel pistons but funds point me in the direction of the cheaper option.
Appreciate the replies. :)

Hi Gizze,
i have just bought some rear STAINLESS PISTONS from John Farrel in the USA.
For all 4 pistons they were 106 $ dollars including postage from the USA to France.
the ref n?19-1209 website <www.jfarrellauto.com> .
They are very well made, with a nice large radius to help easy assembly and no damage to the new seals.
i hope tis helps Alan.b
