Servo Question

My +2 stops well, this is especially true when The engine is overruning from high revs (high manifold vacuum), when the pedal feel is very good. At slower engine speeds, the pedal is lower, although the brakes still work well, and the pedal is no heavier.

What causes this?

This will be no help, but when I couldn't get my servo to work properly, I took it out! After all, it was only an optional extra that mine wasn't originally fitted with and my baby Elan S2 still stops on a sixpence.
