Front suspension dimensions........

Hi there,
Just a point on the front suspension dimensions.
Does anyone know what are the correct dimensions between the wishbone faces when theyhave been bolted to the chassis. The reason I ask is that I have never come across this type of suspension (ie triumph) that does pull the faces of the wishbones together when tightening up either the ball joint or the trunnion.
After measuring the trunnion with all new bits it is almost 40mm, while the upper ball joint is 38.5 mm. My origional lower shock bush is 38 mm (steel face to steel face).
I assume that if the mounting rubbers are not fitted correctly then this will influence the gap between the wishbones.
cheers

When I replaced the front shocks on my +2, the wrong bushing had been sent with the SPAX shocks. The supplier then sent me the correct bushing and all was well. ( I pressed in the correct bush). When the bush is tightened everything should pull up snug. Good Luck!
