PostPost by: mark030358 » Fri Apr 15, 2005 8:05 am

Gents,
Getting close to back on the road now.
I need a set of standard tyres and would like opinions on what type and where to get them from (UK).

cheers

Mark,
If you use the search facility on this forum you should find some useful info as tyres were descussed in depth a while ago.

If you fancy spending a bit of money Michelin are producing the the XAS 155x13 FF tyre again. A bit pricey though at GBP100 a corner from the usual specialist suppliers.

For a buget option go for the Uniroyal Ralley 680

Just ordered a set of XAS from Lonstone Tyres @ GBP90+VAT a corner. I will report more once they are fitted. :D

I fitted Dunlop SP10's to my Sprint.
They were the closest I could get to the originals and cost GBP 25.00 each
They also perform well for the money and are good all weather tyres.
