Track day

PostPost by: iain.hamlton » Mon Apr 24, 2006 12:21 pm

I just took my tatty +2 to a trackday at Anglesey. It was a complete hoot, and the car seems to be unscathed. I am probably now hooked.

The day was intended for Lotuses and novices, but if there is a critism, it that the other cars - mostly Elises and Exiges - were much faster than me.

Can anyone suggest a trackday for suitable for a +2 and a novice driver?

best regards, iain

Iain

I've taken part in the Lotus Drivers Club Introduction to Sprinting that is held at Curborough every year. Really good, plenty of time on the track and as it is a sprint track only one car at a time. Therefore no risk of damage from others mistakes. Try the LDC web site - www.lotusdriversclub.org

I have just booked for the Club Lotus trackday at Castle Coombe. AFAIK it is organised in to clesses e.g. slow, medium, fast :)

There are still some places left, see you there?

Once you have done a trackday there is no going back, you get hooked 8)

I have signed up. See you at Castle Coombe. Look out for a scruffy red + 2 OBR502H.
