Elan S3 springs

Hi

What’s the best spring combination for a S3? The springs you can buy from some suppliers are longer us in the workshop manual specs. And in the front?

If you have a look at previous posts you will see I had a problem with my s3 sitting too high at the rear. I had fitted new springs from one of the major suppliers and after a lot of messaging and head scratching I removed them.
Compared to the originals they looked a very similar length to your new ones . The spring rating was the same, so the consensus of opinion was that they were +2 springs

The springs were sent back to the supplier and I ordered new ones from Sue Miller, which were the same length as the originals and cheaper. The car now sits correctly.
