Hi
I have a set of Koni Classic in my S3. Is possible to restore the shocks?
Is there a company that restore koni in Europe? Where can I find new springs for the shocks?
Or is better to buy new shocks?
Cheers

it is possible, but not so many shops will do it... are you sure they need to be rebuilt ? they can be tested and "calibrated" (I had that done for a few tenners not long ago by a shop otherwise doing Ohlins but had a bench : that consist in actuating the shock under a controlled force and adjusting the valve to balance them) - the valve is described on the Koni site as an adjustment for wear, and since the elan is quite light one usually starts at the lightest end of the range or just one click above.
as for springs, all good suppliers could offer a replacement pair if yours is overly sagging (again, I would check first : free length, then deflection under a know load, say yourself, and a quick coefficient calculation )
