Yokohama a539

I know that some of you are using this tire, did anyone have difficulties getting the tires mounted? The last couple inches of the outer bead won’t “pop”, even with copious amounts of lubricant, and a lot of air pressure . I’ve had them to two different Yoko tire shops without success. They are understandably reluctant to put so much pressure in them without a safety cage. It’s not the wheels, as the previous tires were no problem.

Surprised the inner bead is a different size.
Can you borrow the war departments electric blanket, could soften up the rubber.
Most have soft and hard rubber rings that one adds the mounting grease to (if sealing is the issue, I read it is the tyre wont fit over the rim), might invest in some of these for your favourite tyre shop?

The lube need be on the rim, not the rubber.

Last option, remove a kerf of rubber from the inner most bit of the tyre? Suppose there is not loads of force, unless your tracking it and braking heavily.
