Following on from - viewtopic.php?f=42&t=45361
I called the supplier as, with the different (six sided) damper retaining nuts I don't see how the
alloy spacer (betweem damper top and Aeon spring) can be retained.
And ..... he had no idea what I was hooting about! Maintained that in 30 years he had never heard of
alloy spacer on top of the damper! Recommended Spax and maintained that they have fitted loads but never with any additional spacer thingie!

I think the spacer part number is 050D 0154 used from chassis number 1531.

Could be - mine are simpler but yours would probably work just as well - they are only spacers.
The recess is supposed to fit over the damper retainer nut. Hence if the nut is not circular .....
