Working on a 1970 +2, just removed the fuel tank. Under the fuel tank I found a chicken bone. Do you suppose that's good luck.

Was it a wishbone.? Have you had it DNA traced? Lots of turkeys in Norfolk, don’t want to have a case of mistaken orthopaedic identity.

Could it be “Chicken in a basket case”?

I have a rusty tank in my 1970 +2. Lots of discussion on removing the tank from Sprints. Any hints on getting it out?

thanks

Depends on how hungry you are and if it's still got meat on it. If you're hungry and it's still got meat on it you are lucky.

Good luck for the car that fifty three years later someone is still cleaning it, working on it! :D

Mine had a rusty horse shoe stuck to the sound deadening felt behind the rear seat on the tank. No sign of the horse though!
