Air trunking recommendations

So I managed to split the air trunking on my Sprint. Horizontally so it’s now in 2 pieces.

I run the standard air filter arrangement and want to keep it original looking.

The old one is the paper covered aluminium which I always felt was too rigid and was a fight to reattach to the carb air box as well as the filter canister.

So any suggestions for a better replacement which still looks original available in the UK?

Thanks
Richard

That's unfortunate as the original stuff doesn't seem to be available as what we are offered is painted corrugated stainless steel ducting.
It works well enough but isn't quite the same look and feel.

Richard,

Sue of Mick Miller in Suffolk sells the right stuff!

If Sue Miller is out of stock I have length which I could let you have. I think it came initially from Sue, it is the black corrugated tube stuff but I am not clear if you want original or something better which looks original?

It’s more the latter, but I’ve taken a punt with some Webasto material, so when it arrives I’ll see how I get on with it.

Thanks all for the responses.

The webasto is probably gas fired heater duct.
Like the usual suspects are offering.

Just to wrap this thread up, this is the Webasto item.

It’s 90mm diameter as opposed to the original 3.5 inch and as a result much easier to attach to my standard air filter housing.

It has sufficient flexibility to ease past the radiator brackets without getting snagged.

Richard

Sue told me only this afternoon that she now only sells the cheaper plastic domestic tumbler dryer type ducting and not the original style PAP ducting.
