Stromberg air filters

Could anyone recommend a decent aftermarket air filter setup for my Strombergs?
At the moment there are a pair of very cheap round chrome ones with a thin foam filter in each. I am not particularly bothered about having a pair of single filters or a single bigger one, just interested in what people have found to be good.
Thanks,
Andy

I think most are recommending a filter in the nose to an airbox, to make use of cooler air. I opted for a K&N filter in the nose rather than the original donut style.

thanks Henry, and what airbox did you use? I don't have an original.

I’m pretty sure they’re available from the usual suspects. I got mine from P.M. but it was a while back. You’ll need the trunking as well.

Just another data-point for anybody searching this topic in the future: I learned the hard way that a Stromberg airbox for an S4 will NOT fit in a Plus 2. The spigot for the trunking is at a different angle and fouls against the wheel-well.
