Airbox back plate throttle cable fixing

PostPost by: David1953 » Fri Nov 15, 2019 9:28 pm

My back plate is less than perfect and is missing the bracket for the throttle cable end and the return spring.
Hopefully it should be easy enough to make a replacement. Could someone let me know the dimensions I should be aiming for? I understand height wise it should be level with the bottom of the plate, but not sure how far the cable centre should be from the plate.

Probably go to state what carbs/air box style you referring to as I think there is some variance between the different airboxes.

(For example my cars been covert from DHLA to weber carbs and i had to re-drill my bracket to accept the weber return spring.)

Car is a S3, reasonable chance the back plate is as well. Carps are weber.
