Pierce Manifolds Weber Tuning Manual

Just received my newly purchased Pierce Manifolds' Weber Tuning Manual. It's outstanding in my opinion when compared to Passini's, Haynes, Braden and Hammill books. Sixty-one pages of the best information I've ever read relating to all aspects of Webers usage. Including sectioned drawings and tables of every dimension of every Weber jet. I'd guess over half of the information I've never seen in print before. Sadly it's missing the standard charts listing jets in the order of their actual mixtures delivered from fat to lean. The arrangement of the document sections in the way they string together is a bit confusing at first too. Takes about two hours to read it carefully through. I'll have to reread it again tomorrow. I'm not so sure whether it's the best resource for any novice tuners though.

Hint: I'm going to call Doug tomorrow and ask if the DCOE exhibits 'reversal'. If it should then I've definitely got a problem with mine.

Hi Steve,
That website is a good one but it only covers the basics. It just barely scratches the surface when compared to this manual.

Regards,
Keith

I must admit that when it comes to setting up the carbs I go to my local motorsport garage and have them put it on the rollers and play with until it is right. :D
