Does anyone know if the Dellorto pump jet number 8083 can be interchanged with part number 7211? The 7211 looks the same in photos and is about half the price - go figure. I've found the 7211 available in the USA and the 8083 in the UK.

Are you sure about the 7211 number?

7851-xx is a horizontal Pump Jet for the DHLA, and 8083-xx is a vertical Pump Jet; but I can find no 7211 Pump Jet. The -xx designates the size for each 'type' part number. 7851 & 8083 are fit interchangeable, but you may have to play with the jet size to get the fuel delivery right for your engine. I happen to think the horizontal Pump Jets work better.

7851-33 = Elan Standard
8083-45 = Elan Sprint and Elan +2 / +2S / +2S-130
8083-40 = Europa Twin Cam

Hi Tim, thanks for the info. The 7211 number came from the CB Performance website in the USA and the price is about half of what Eurocarb sell their's. However I was thinking about getting the 7851.35 from Eurocarb.

Here is the 7211 part number. Hard to tell but it looks the same as the others.

I went to the CB Performance website, and I see the 7211 part. It sure looks like a pump jet, but I still don't recognize the number. I wonder if that's CB's own part number for an aftermarket reproduction part? Your best answer will probably come from contacting them directly and asking about the part. Have the 7851/ 8083 Dellorto numbers close at hand, and ask.

Good luck,
