Hi,
There was quite a heated discussion about this a while ago.

I enjoyed reading that thread, the guys communication skills probably put paid to his dream of producing a run of 200 manifolds that would give people an instant XYZ% horsepower increase, by the look of the picture in the EBay listing and from the text written it looks to me to be the same manifold and the same inventor.
Shame really because I'm sure a lot of work and passion went into it, Wonder why it is now for sale?
Is it good value for a Stromberg head with a punt on the manifold?
Whilst reading the thread i loved this comment from Gary Anderson, I hope he returns soon:
I am not trying to be an a$$hole, as I don't really need the practice.

hi im the guy selling this weber conversion , I made it in 2007 , and it worked extremely well it was used in my elan ,
it beat a lotus twincam Cortina with a 2litre conversion driven by brian Beverly , who does a lot of hillcliming and is very quick driver and a mgb with a 2lite conversion
it fits in perfectly and enough room for a kn filter
I did look at getting them cast if I had enough interest ,
but the company that was going to do it wanted to much money so the idea was shelved
I now run a 1979 caterham 7 with a 2litre bdg twin cam it got a brand new QED big port cylinder head and twin 48s
my elan will now have fitted a brand new david gatherole alloy block and je pistons with a steel crank, 5.4" rods
theres very little anyone can tell me about lotus as I was a technian with them in the 80s
and like to make thing that work
