Does anyone know of where I can source the oil seal that hoes in the glass bowl type fuel pump. I googled it and there was a chap on a TR forum who just use to sell the seal. Unfortunately the link was dead as it was 4 years old.
Thanks
Terry

Thanks Stuart but Holdens - No

There is a kit on ebay that has it , but I don't really want to pay ?20 for 1 small seal

Having spent ?20 on one seal I now discover that AC fuel pumps come in all sizes
The one on the left is the one out of my pump, the one on the right is my new one which is too small. I did try to fit it but they are such a b*****r to fit I might as well try to do it properly.

So the choice.....
Option 1 - source and fit new seal
Option 2 - fit new AC pump
Option 3 - fit new electric pump.
I have a slight concern over option 3 as I never like the idea of petrol pumping without the engine turning
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks
Terry

If I go electric, I could fit an inertia switch.
On the pump side there appears to be two facet models at 1.5 to 4 psi

Has anyone fitted the black one without a pressure regulator?

Thanks
Terry
