Can anyone please measure the length of the two outer cables used on the S4 Stromberg head. UK spec RHD.

I pulled the inner cable out of the sheath and measured it. the end to the begining of the steel part of the handle was 35.5 inches (inother word the all wire length was 35.5), the outer sheath was about 2 inches (shorter) once I pushed in the handle all the way. I would get a piece of wire 38 inches and trim to length when installed.

I got my inners and outers confused in writing, the outer was 2 inches shorter than the inner (i.e. there was 2 inches of inner cable sticking out of the outer sheath)
thats as good as I can do.

It's actually the outer cable sheaths as you call it that I need the lengths of. There are two pieces, one fromthe dash to the front carb & a second piece that goes fromt he front carb to the rear one. There is a bracket attached to the front carb that the two outers butt up against.
