Whats it worth?? stromberg head and carbs

Hi all,

Ive found a set of stromie carbs and the head from my dads old s4se.

The car was changed to a bigvalve &webbers in the late 70s. The head and carbs have been stored ever since.

Just wondered on how much they are worth as when restoring the car i plan to keep it on the webber set up.

A bare Stromberg head with just the cam caps is around $250 to $500 in Australia or the US depending on condition (corrossion, cam follower sleeves wear, valve guides wear). Cams and cam cover add to the value maybe another $200 for cams and $100 for cam cover. Valves and springs unless new not worth anything as normally replaced in a rebuild.

I have bought a few in the last 6 years for conversion by Omnitech in the US and these prices have been consistent over that time.
