You're not the only one Hamish (to save your embaressment!) I made it about 50 yards from my drive before my car cut out, leaving me somewhat bemused until I flicked the right switch! Although in my defence I had only just bought the car when this happened, and was too excited to remember silly things like fuel pumps!!!

did that on the Q.E.W. highway at 60 plus mph---reached over to turn on the wipers and accidentally hit the switch guard ----figured it out PDQ in time to avoid a transport from turning the car into confetti ---- :shock: skid marks on the laundry----ed
